At our next Workshop we'll look at "Ethical Dilemmas in Genealogy" by Dr. Penny Walters.  Have you ever found secrets or lies pertaining to your genealogy research?  Have you been able to resolve conflict over family narratives or interpretations of information?  Did you ask that person on Ancestry.com if you could add that photo to your tree?

These are the dilemmas we encounter and Dr Walters offers some guidelines to help you as you navigate some of these potholes.

Preserving The Past Through Collaboration

Our Goal is to increase collaboration with other family history/genealogy organizations and groups in the Greater Triad area with the intention of promoting each other's projects, conferences, classes, seminars and raison d'etre. In the spirit of friendship and mutual purpose, our hope, with you, is to encourage,engage and assist the community in the fulfilling joy of finding out who we are and who our Ancestors were through preserving their stories and records.
